To know more about Julero

Julero, a French designer, started decorating very early after a successful foray into industrial design.

Discovering a different culture, landscapes and knowledge, Julero fell in love with northern Thailand and settled in the Chiang Mai region to establish his place of life and creation.

It was there, in 2008, that Julero began the development of its new concept: a range of products that it designs and signs and entrusts the manufacture exclusively to craftsmen, while ensuring the highest quality.

« I like pure lines, flared, slender, unexpected shapes, colour breaks. And I have an almost tactile attachment to the material. Wood for its warmth, ceramics for its nobility, cement for its strangeness, metal for its rigor. »

The result is a silky blend of contemporary international design and exoticism. Until recently, its customers were mainly in Europe and some more specifically in Provence, its native region. Individual clientele but also luxury hotels and residences, trendy restaurants or bars, high-end spas… For each, it brought a touch of exotic sophistication. Today, the whole world visits him in his showroom in Chiang Mai.

A perfect fusion ?

French design is synonymous with refinement, boldness and timelessness. It’s like a well-aged glass of red wine. It is sophisticated, with clean lines and graceful curves. It celebrates elegance without ostentation.
Thai craftsmanship is a vibrant world of colors, textures and spirituality. Thai artisans draw their inspiration from nature. Wooden sculptures in particular are examples of their deep connection with their environment. Thai craftsmanship is steeped in spirituality and a thousand-year-old tradition.

There is some magic in the harmony between these two worlds, where French elegance blends with spirituality and Asian tradition close to nature. Julero is the bridge between these two worlds. We offer unique pieces, created by passionate craftsmen, combining the best of French design and Thai craftsmanship. Whatever you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered.

Immerse yourself in this captivating fusion and discover the best of both worlds, from drawing to making and setting up the decor.

An eco-responsible approach supporting local populations

Julero’s philosophy fully commits him to an ecologically responsible economy.

We use natural materials as much as possible as a priority for our products. We use bamboo, acacia and eucalyptus, all ecological species whose resources are considered inexhaustible.”

On the borders of northern Thailand, crafts are a fundamental anchor for artisans.

Maintaining jobs in villages, thanks to fair and responsible trade, ensures the sustainability of artistic practices but also the survival and maintenance of these populations in their native lands, too often forced to leave their land and go to the cities to find work. It is a future for future generations that is maintained by preserving traditional and modern crafts at the same time.

We love wood!

Wood is a versatile and timeless material that brings many advantages when used in interior decoration.

Here are some reasons why wood is a great choice to beautify your space:

  • Renewable Resource: Contrary to popular belief, wood is a renewable resource. Producers manage their harvest responsibly, contributing to the fight against climate change.  Trees also absorb polluted air, making them an ecological choice.
  • Durability and Resistance: Wood furniture and objects are known for their durability. They resist well to daily wear and age elegantly.  Compared to other materials, wooden furniture offers exceptional durability.
  • Natural Aesthetics: Wood brings warmth and natural aesthetics to your home.  Its unique hues and veins add depth and texture to your decor, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Brightness and Zen Ambience: Wood illuminates interior spaces, increasing brightness and temperature naturally.  It creates a zen and warm atmosphere, ideal for a family home.
  • Adaptability: Wood integrates harmoniously into all styles of decoration, whether modern, rustic or Scandinavian.  You can use it for flooring, furniture and lighting
